Airfree is a natural system capable of eliminating from the air: Viruses (H1N1 Flu, SARS, Coronavirus), Bacteria (legionella), Mold, Fungi, Allergens (Mites, Pollen, Pets), ozone and chemical contaminants, taking care of the air you breathe in your home and in your work environment.
How does AirFree work?
Contaminated air, by convention, enters the device where the exclusive porous ceramic sterilizing core neutralizes microorganisms and allergens at a temperature exceeding 200°C. After the sterilization process, the air comes into contact with a cooling plate and flows into the environment free from germs and allergens.
How does this happen?
Microorganisms and allergens are composed of proteins. At very high temperatures, proteins undergo a process called denaturation. In practice, their structure is irreversibly altered, losing their pathogenic and allergenic potential. The process is similar to the sterilization of water by boiling. We all know that already at the boiling temperature of water (around 100°C), viruses and bacteria are neutralized.
Airfree continuously treats the air from the environment, which, passing through the sterilization chamber heated to over 200º C, is sterilized immediately. Before returning purified to the environment, the air is cooled.
In addition to having a unique and award-winning design, by the famous designer Indio da Costa, Airfree devices are completely silent. Airfree must be used continuously to keep the environment pure.
