I controlli OEKO-TEX® sulle sostanze nocive si orientano sempre all'effettiva destinazione d'uso dell'articolo tessile. Più un prodotto rimane a contatto con la pelle, più restrittivi sono i requisiti ecologici che deve soddisfare.
Di conseguenza, si distinguono quattro classi di prodotti:
classe di prodotti I:
prodotti tessili e giocattoli in tessuto per bebè e bambini piccoli fino a tre anni (abbigliamento, giocattoli, biancheria per la culla/letto, articoli in spugna, ecc.)
classe di prodotti II:
prodotti tessili utilizzati a contatto con la pelle (biancheria intima, biancheria per il letto, t-Shirt, ecc.)
classe di prodotti III:
prodotti tessili non utilizzati a contatto con la pelle (giacche, cappotti, ecc.)
classe di prodotti IV:
materiali per l’arredamento (tende, tovaglie, tessuti per rivestimenti di pareti e pavimenti, ecc.)
Certificazione
Il prerequisito per la certificazione di prodotti tessili secondo OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 è che tutti i componenti di un articolo soddisfino, senza eccezioni, i requisiti previsti, quindi oltre al tessuto esterno ad esempio anche i fili per cucire, tendicollo, stampe, ecc. nonché accessori non tessili, come bottoni, zip, rivetti, ecc.
La verifica periodica dei materiali ci consente di mantenere gli elevati standard qualitativi dei nostri prodotti per garantire la tranquillità dei clienti che ci accordano la loro fiducia.
