Covid-19 emergency the new nanohub filter, tested at the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, is effective against sars-cov-2 (responsible for covid-19)
After testing the devices with photocatalytic technology on VOCs, bacteria, spores, molds and allergens, NANOHUB has patented a new filter ("KtV") composed of a latest generation photocatalytic reactor in which an antibacterial and antiviral fabric has been inserted whose joint action allows the air to be sanitized extremely effectively.
This filter was tested on the infectious Covid-19 virus (SARS-CoV-2) at the Viral Pathogenesis and Biosafety Unit of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan by the team led by Dr. Elisa Vicenzi.
TOTAL INACTIVATION OF THE VIRUS IN JUST 30 MINUTES
The graph below shows the results of the reduction of the viral titer expressed in plaque forming units (PFU)/ml calculated by counting the plaques of the test carried out at the San Raffaele Hospital - Viral Pathogenesis and Biosafety Unit.
The data shows that after 10 minutes the infectious viral load of SARS-COV-2 was inactivated by over 98.2%, after 20 by over 99.8% until the virus was completely inactivated after 30 minutes of treatment.
The NANOHUB devices with the application of the new patented filter therefore allow us to pursue the objectives of improving indoor air quality and maintaining it, while at the same time allowing the containment or slowing down of the transmission of SARS-CoV-2.
Technology
The filter technology designed and patented by NanoHub inactivates a high infectious viral load (15,000 initial infectious particles) of SARS-CoV-2 of over 98.2% in just 10 minutes;
in 20 minutes of over 99.8%, up to 100% in 30 minutes.
The filter is made up of a latest generation photocatalytic reactor and an antibacterial and antiviral fabric.
The joint action of the components allows the air to be sanitized, achieving the objectives of containment and slowing down the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 that have always been evoked by the health authorities for the return to normal life.
HESPERO 100
It responds to the needs of maintaining good air quality: it is a stand alone device, it can be installed quickly and easily.
The air flow will pass through the machine and exit from the slits on the side, so be careful not to "choke" the air around Espero 100.
A simple press of the touch button will adjust the performance of the device as well as turning it on and off.
This type of solution is recommended for homes, offices, shops and all those situations that fall between 20 and 50 square meters of surface area.
ESPERO 100 does not use chemicals, does not produce ozone and other toxic gases.
The "KtV" filter is installed inside it, through which the air sucked from the environment passes and is returned after treatment: by continuing this operation, the air in the room is constantly recalled, sanitized and returned.

The air flow will pass from the base through the filter and exit from the slots located on the top surface of the product, so be careful not to "choke" the air around the machine.
A simple selection via keyboard will regulate the performance of the device as well as turning it on and off.
This type of solution is recommended for homes, offices, shops and all those situations that fall between 50 and 100 square meters of surface area.
Levante 250/500 does not use chemicals, does not produce ozone and other toxic gases.
A dust filter present inside the rear part of the machine has the task of keeping the photocatalytic reactor clean and therefore efficient.
In the LQ versions there is an ultrasonic diffuser that vaporizes a natural bacterial stabilizer liquid.
Scirocco 150
responds to the needs of maintaining good air quality. It installs quickly and easily. The air flow will pass through the filter body of the product, cleaning the air through photocatalysis.
This type of solution is recommended for offices, shops, professional environments and all those situations that need to handle medium-large volumes.
Scirocco 150 does not use chemicals, does not produce ozone and other toxic gases.
Scirocco 150 is a device for false ceilings with 60 x 60 centimeter modules, it can be installed quickly and easily.
Once positioned after removing one of the ceiling panels and correctly powered, the sanitizer is ready to work.
This type of solution is recommended for offices, shops and all those situations where space requirements with similar machines (in terms of characteristics and volumes) on the ground are not possible.
The supplied remote control regulates the speed of the air flow (medium and high comfort) and the sanitization activity (light button) as well as the operating time.
